Boston, Mass. —

Ori, Inc., the leading creator of robotic interiors, today announced that it has been named a winner of the 21st annual Mass Technology Leadership Awards. Ori was recognized as the “Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year: Robotics” for the company’s design and development of robotic interiors that enable the elegant and effortless transformation of any room.

“Our congratulations to Ori and to all of the 21st annual MassTLC Leadership Awards finalists. Each one is an example of the executive leadership, business acumen and technological innovation fueling Massachusetts’ economy and an example of the breadth and depth of talent in our region,’ said Tom Hopcroft, president and CEO of Mass Technology Leadership Council.”

This year, Ori announced its first commercial product, the Ori Studio Suite, which can transform a studio apartment into a bedroom, office, full-size living room, or walk-in-closet, on demand. Every Ori Studio Suite features a retractable bed, closet, abundant storage space, a full media console, and can be controlled with voice activation using Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Production units are UL safety certified and can switch to manual mode, allowing for the effortless movement of the system in the event of a power outage.

“We’re responding to the demand for a better and more affordable urban living experience by delivering innovation that enables both. Although the Ori Studio Suite has been commercially available for only a few months, we have already installed the system in dozens of projects across the country,” said Hasier Larrea, founder and CEO of Ori. “We are honored to receive this recognition from MassTLC, and look forward to showing the world a vision of what is possible with robotic interiors with our upcoming product announcements.”

Commercial developers who want to learn more about the Ori Studio Suite can contact Ori at www.orisystems.com/order. The Ori Studio Suite is on display for a limited time at West Elm Fenway, located at 160 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215, open 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday, and 12-7pm on Sunday.
